Is it possible to get an IDN-based site ranked highly in Baidu SERP?

Any examples would be really helpful.

百度不会收录中文域名，但可以收录对应的PUNYCODE，所以百度不会给中文域名额外的权重。

Baidu do not recognize IDN, but can recognize corresponding PUNYCODE, so Baidu will not give extra weight to Chinese IDN.

That's a bummer. Saves me some effort for now, I guess.

I see why the pinyin names are still getting bid up... users aren't seeing IDN in SERP, like they do where google and yahoo are more commonly used.

They will all get it right when it's time and update the algo , email support etc...rather they like it or not really...(in Russia i.e Medvedev specifically said he expects yandex and others to adapt) , With China having all it's official government sites on idn.cn i ask for anyone to show me how else can it go.

Some samples to Hebrew domains on google's 1st page, sometimes more then one idn @ top 10 (also check out 2nd page, more idns there) and some are for competitive keywords like mortgage, car rental and gifts.
