Would YOU keep or dump this domain?

吉普赛.com Gypsy.com, Chinese. net and cn both open

I'm sure i am not the first to find a domain in my account and wonder "where the heck did this come from"!!!
At any rate, would love some opinions on this one....keep or dump?

I am now a bit curious about the "Gypsy" culture in China...it is reported they came to China in the 1200's during the Yuan Dynasty, before they even set foot into Europe. Maybe some of the members here can share some information.

Here are some google stats, the google pictures are colorful and interesting as well.
2.6 million SERP

吉普赛 scores enough searches to be indexed by google trends

Re: Would YOU keep or dump this domain?

I would drop the domain. I imagine it would be difficult to develop, find an end user for, or monetize it.

Interesting to see that it does have google trends and baidu index numbers. Wouldn't have thought so for this term..

If it can't be sold on or through the internet it's a no for me anyway unless it's a geo or a good generic.

Melt it down, recover any bullion, and scatter the ashes.

Re: Would YOU keep or dump this domain?

I think the British 'gypsies'/ 'pikeys' depicted in the movie 'Snatch'..
might have some kin in China...(grin)

Brad Pitt.......as an incoherent Brit/gypsy/boxer...is very amusing.
(surprised the UK film bureau did not demand sub-titles for this performance).

but hey....YouTube is the shizznit...for sub-titles...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WLfVd1pwz5E

Eventually, someone will re-make this movie in HK....
with gibberish Chinese caravan boxers etc...

Michael Caine with a cameo...of course....

A great movie.

I still haven't managed to see the start of it though.

Re: Would YOU keep or dump this domain?

Yes, but don't confuse these guys with the Romani that you get from Central and Eastern Europe who have started a serious crime wave in the UK and elsewhere. I don't think I am racist. I certainly believe in equal opportunities for all, especially when it comes to soap and water.

Saw it last night. His accent is ROTFL laughing when he is pretending to be Italian. All the funnier because he claims he has the best Italian accent out of his 3 chums, when clearly it is worse than appalling. Classic!!!
