Drop in traffic from China - IDN Forums

I use a Chinese IDN to showcase my Chinese IDN, all my names are forwarded to the site, about 160 of them. Traffic from China has dropped significantly in the last 2/3 weeks from 6.7% to 4.1%- was getting 300 plus visits per day now around 170.

I have not delved deeper but might it be the .cn that are getting blocked or what?

I noticed significant changes in traffic patterns in the last few days.
1. Domains at ND start to receive direct traffic and clicks from China;
2. Many Japanese coms of the .jp reserved KWs get good USA type ins;
3. High-end domains is having a surge in Japanese traffics.
4. French domains are getting more visits from Canada.

Just tested a bunch of Chinese names from your site in your signature, seem to be mostly working from where i am in China at the moment.

Maybe a change in their search engine rankings? Where was the traffic from before?

Traffic to the site is not down much, 250 a day early to mid Jan dropping to around 220 a day now.

It's the percentage of traffic from China that has dropped from 6% (15 a day) to 1% (5 a day now). No idea why, may be se rankings as was mentioned.

Creeping back up again in the last week, just under 300 yesterday.-encouraging.
