Could someone please tell me if this is the best term for "thread" or "yarn" in Russian? I came up with a few more but this returned the most results. Can it stand alone? Thanks for your help.
Thanks. I also did some more digging and found нить pointed to some Russian sites that were thread factories. But I also dug up one that indicated dental floss. I had considered your term also and maybe it is more specific as opposed to my general term. (?) Thanks for your help, tff. Anyone else?
"нить" as "нитка" = thread, also "нить рассказа" — thread of a story
But in usual life it means "нитка" aka "пряжа".
нить = filament (botany)
Hey, welcome, RusDom. Thanks for your input. In your opinion, do you think this term has any future in the world of Russian domains? Can it stand alone? Thanks!
I think its because they are the best investment in any language. That and because Trolls found out about the Idn market and buying up everything they can still get. "in words of one of our "respected" member."
