Which is better for "pizza"? "пицца" or "пиццы"?

Hi folks,

I am new here and this is my first post ever.

I have acquired "пиццы.com" and it seems on the surface, both "пиццы.com" and "пицца.com" mean "pizza.com" even though the stats on my version seem worse.

Can anybody help me with whether mine is not used in practice or is it OK?

(I am a Turkish guy living in the US by the way, so if you are struggling with interpreting any Turkish domains, you can send them my way).

Thanks guys.

Welcome to the forum, nice to have you here.

One tool to compare terms is google.com/trends. In this case it likes the singular.
The results are not always 100% accurate, but another tool that can be used as a guide.
Best is always to ask a native speaker.

Of course. It is everywhere. That is why I was a little excited about it. But then again, I am a newbie, I may be getting excited about stuff I don't need to.

Thanks a lot. I looked into it and for some reason it keeps on saying "Bad Request - Your client has issued a malformed or illegal request". Anyway, I'll try again later.

What's better for pizza? well the crust must be made correctly, and then pepperoni, mushrooms, and real mozzarella cheese and a little extra tomato sauce.

Thanks for asking.

Re: Which is better for "pizza"? "пицца" or "пиццы"?

Пиццы is the plural and means 'pizzas' but not used in this way
And also we say 'некоторые виды пиццы' but it means 'some kinds of pizza' (it's the case of the word)
Guys, and how it used properly in English? Is there any plural use?

Similar to Engish, "pizza" is used much more frequently.

Google keyword tools also tells the same story

Exact global search volume
[пицца] - 33,100
[пиццы] - 590

I would agree...pizza is used 100x more than pizzas, especially in conversation.

You can say "lets go get some pizza" and that can mean many pizzas (not just one).

Same with "who wants to go get some pizza?", or "this pizza taste awful", can all refer to multiple pizzas.

Pizza.com in English is worth 1000x more than pizzas.com IMO.
