Any suggestions? Wow!

I have a name at ispreg.com, which I registered via snap. I contacted them about six months ago repeatedly so that I could unlock the domain and transfer it. This led nowhere. I eventually filed a complaint with Icann. Never heard back from them. Just sent another complaint.

Check out their new site: ispreg.com (it's safe)

Any suggestions?

Re: Any suggestions? Wow!

ispreg.com lists OOO Russian Registrar in whois info.

ICANN has authorized a bulk transfer of OOO Russian Registrar's and BP Holdings Group Inc.'s (dba IS.COM) gTLD domain names to Name.com LLC, due to compliance actions taken by ICANN that resulted in the de-accreditation of two registrars: OOO Russian Registrar and BP Holdings Group Inc.

You kick ass. I just contacted name.com. Thanks. Quite interesting when your domain registrar becomes a parking page!

Re: Any suggestions? Wow!

Looks like the complaints worked! Congrats!

One less scummy front for the domain snappers.

Interesting that name.com managed to get the names - usually ICANN just hands them over to those guys in India with the shitty UI.

Re: Any suggestions? Wow!

I got screwed by DotSpeedy.com so if win a snap name and they are your registrar beware.
Their system would not transfer the name, so then I tried to renew the name with them.
They took the money but did not renew the name, I thought a glitch so I paid again.
Called and emailed 50x. They have a fake (proxy) US address. They don't answer email, or phone.
ICANN really did not give a shit, I spoke to them a dozen times. They had me fill out complaint forms. :p
The name finally dropped and I had to win it back a second time via Snap.
DotSpeedy.com is still operating, who the f*ck knows where from...but not the US.
Have complained second time to ICANN and still no action taken by them, not even a courtesy response back to me.

Snapnames pays for their registry connection. Did you complain to Snapnames?

Yes, Snapnames was great, they tried to help, but they could not get DotSpeedy to answer their emails either.

It used to be that you'd email Nelson [Halvarez] and he would take care of it for you...
