hi-could someone please let me know of a link to where i can see the list of prohibited characters for the next version of punycode? much appreciated-thanks

Unfortunately, Verisign doesn't follow IDNA2008.

No, lets get this right for once.

ICANN has not implemented IDNA2008 and Mozilla won't mind their own fucking business!

ICANN has not implemented IDNA2008? What is the current standard then?

Can you make any sense of this? They might as well be writing some of this in Molvanian, for all I know, it isn't English. http://iucg.org/wiki/IDNA2010

Well I am not aware that all the prohibited characters are no longer resolving. It certainly has not been announced by ICANN. Do they not announce important changes? I guess they have so much slather to get into the press it must be difficult.

Bottom line is as far as Pishing goes Microsoft blew Mozilla out of the water and they hate it. In all other respects IE is a bag of shit and exposes users to just about every threat known to man.

Well, you will know when it is effective because all the symbol domains just won't resolve. Has that happened yet? I have no idea, as I lost interest in Symbols three or four years ago.
