So how long before Goldman Sachs starts bundling ASCII before selling them Short?

If the Cape Cod Times has got it, then soon the CIA will be torturing the truth out of somebody.

Re: So how long before Goldman Sachs starts bundling ASCII before selling them Short?

I thought that was a very interesting article, with some interesting facts such as ...

"Instead, English is on the decline worldwide, with fewer than 6 percent of the world's population speaking it as a first language, and each year, fewer still choose it as their second language".

I noticed that bit, too. It seems there is sometimes a reaction from English speakers who first discover global English-usage statistics to have these "The End Is Nigh" panic attacks.

But...was the 6 percent quoted ever significantly higher than that, at any time in history?

If the second part is true, it's because people are opting to learn one of several different languages over English--languages that, regionally, make more sense to learn. They aren't all learning Esperanto.

As a second language, there really is no other single language that is as globally advantageous to know. Perhaps Mandarin, someday.

(IMHO.)

90% of the domain investors speak English as native language.

It will take time (if ever) to build dynamic secondary domain markets on other languages. (Except German, of course)

Spanish might be useful if you are a Gringo migrant worker.
