Overture is doing some sort of strange spelling autocorrection with the results according to how the term sounds in English.
Japanese have difficulty pronouncing "v" sounds, like "ve". Most often "v" sounds like "b". So, "ve" would often be pronounced "be" [sounds like beh not bee].
Katakana "be" is ベ
Katakana "ve" is ヴェ
The moral is, when you see "v" sounding characters and the results seem a little off, do the substitution with the "b" sounding character and see if the results are more friendly.
