Re: Mulligan- Where's the 2010 World Cup Poll?

Anyone know how the time is calculated on football.tv for matches like this one?
Because of the hours difference in S. Africa, I need to know if there is a time difference for Pacific Time US

http://www.football.tv/matches/2010/...mexico/878771/

Looks like it's 7 am Pacific time.....because it's 10 am eastern.
So it looks like the site calculates the time for me automatically...good news

Re: Mulligan- Where's the 2010 World Cup Poll?

i am pulling for U.S. but looking at betting line here in u.s. the over/under is set at 2 1/2 with vig. at over -110 under -130 so the under has slight edge. so i am thinking a two goal game, england is a 1 goal fav. at -110, so my prediction is England 2 U.S.A 0

As usual with England, I can see them only managing a draw in this game ( 1-1 ) though they will qualify in the group. Fingers crossed though that England finally get their act together after "can't remember how many years" of hurt its been.

agree, no doubt it will be a drama.

it's no fun anymore, the US used to be terrible and such an easy win and so many easy jokes.. but they are looking a lot more dangerous now.

I actually think the U.S have a good chance if they can only find their way to South Africa.

OK..
here's hoping the SA 11 beat the Mexicans.

As for the US vs 'Three Lions'......
the karma is for 1950 redux.

My 14yo has informed me he's not going to school tomorrow because there's only 6 in his class who are going to show up, and none are bringing a TV.

Re: Mulligan- Where's the 2010 World Cup Poll?

tee1 / Tim

Unfortunately, English tactics and strategy in the Transvaal and other areas at the bottom of the prime meridian have been found wanting before.....

"The Boer War also had another significance. The Army Medical Corps discovered that 40% of men called up for duty were physically unfit to fight. This was the first time in which the government was forced to take notice of how unfit the British Army was."

Hopefully the '3 lions' squad will be confused as whether to stir their morning English Breakfast tea ...clockwise or counterclockwise ...

so let the red cross painted faces begin their chanting...
and let all the tackles on the pitch be fair and unpenalized by stupid ref's from bizarre professional leagues..
