Stating the obvious, but true anyway. Maybe we can start a list of what's hot and what isn't in several countries.

e.g. Germany:

hot:
- renewable energy
- football (the real one played with the foot)

not:
- nuclear power
- baseball

Well, I guess it is not the Yogurt they are after.

There is actually quite a bit of skiing in Algeria, and dune skiing is quite popular, but it might well be that water skiing that is the main attraction.
