Is it inappropriate to say "I told you so"?

Re: .Mobi Forum Owner’s Call to Action

I am loving Win8.

My next laptop will be a pad with a removable keyboard. That's for sure

Win8 is also now available for download for free (alpha version).

When is it coming out, the commercial version? Or is there a set date yet?

I read people are paying $3.500 per tablet on ebay.

Yeah, they will soon be collectors items along with unopened Box Sets of Windows. Get in now before prices rise. God know how much these things will fetch at Sotheby's in 20 years time as Yanks hanker for momentos of a glorious past.

I've got a sealed copy of Windows 95 somewhere. You think that might be worth taking along to the Antiques Roadshow in a few years ??

Lol, yeah if you are buying it just to "own" one, it's a petty dumb purchase.

I think the people that are buying these are thinking, 'APP GOLD RUSH!'

Yes, actually you are right. As much as I detest Microsoft and its software, the reality hit me last night.

I need to put forward and innovation plan for the rebidding of our core business, and I am thinking big. I realised I had no option but to go the Windows 8 Root. Anything else would be a no sell. But if adopted the implementation will be on as yet undeveloped machine. Probably something like a Nokia version of the Samsung Galaxy.

I was using Win 98 when I started IDN on IE6 back when Firefox still resolved Unicode in their browser. Funny how technology moves faster than policy. We'll see Windows 8 app millionaires before we see an IDN sell for $1 million+.

Damn it, Icann.
