I would have thought they'd display the domain a little longer in the advert as most people wouldn't be familiar with a Japanese domain name. They just kind of flashed it up there as if it was the most natural thing in the world. Pretty certain it's just because I'm a slow katakana reader though.
I don't think it's because you are a slow katakana reader, Kent. It's because there is some stupid rule as to how long an advertiser can show its url in TV commercials. I might be wrong, but I understand there used to be such a rule, and I think there still exists one. TVs don't want to lose their viewers to internet.
