I'm still looking for that elusive >100k ovt 2-character .com!

Sometimes we approach this from the wrong angle.

I would suggest that use Overture Toolbar as a suggestion tool. In other words bang in suggestions and then look at results with higher search numbers. Often they are things that we wouldn't have thought of as they probably don't translate readily.

Another suggestion is to get into some Chinese Portal Sites which can be accessed through Alexa. Go to More Top Site at bottom right on home page, then select required language on left. Use titles, categories or anything that looks interesting and bang it into Overture and then follow up any leads with results over you target. I would think you should initially be looking at 500K Plus, dropping it a bit depending on level of success.

Sorry, further to my previous post the 500K target it too high for Chinese, although good for Japanese.

For Chinese 100K plus is a realistic target.
