Talking Rubber duck debugging

Hey, didn't even know such a thing ever existed:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rubber_duck_debugging

Now I understand the name, having to explain IDNs over and over again.

Well if the can get this dumb fuck to understand it, then the explanation much not only be logical but rationally simplified.

Re: Rubber duck debugging

You could make a start by explaining why Apple sources it's major components from Samsung, and why it thinks it adds value to keep trying to sue the ass of its biggest supplier.

Re: Rubber duck debugging

rubber duck or talk to the toy debugging was taught at NASA in the 1960's.
if you've seen 'Apollo 13' ....chips and machine language code back then on what...
16 K, 32K, 64 K chips and boards etc...

programmers would read their code out load to cardboard cutouts...then go to the conference room to read to prelim then read it to final QA....

basically, Apollo craft would go to the moon and back with the computing power of an
1995 era calculator....
