They are not random figures from what i understand. I know this because I saw those same numbers there for about 15 minutes before the stats for these two days went blank.

because I would rather park with Namedrive, and I still have a few hundred domains parked there.
As new names are blocked, I am moving that name from Namedrive to a different provider that displays alternative ads (like ParkingCrew)
If I am not informed that a name is newly blocked, then I just wait for the revenue to vanish? Most of my names produce traffic & revenue, I don't like the idea of having to keep refreshing the blocked list.
When I said it would be easier to just abandon ND altogether, it wasn't a hollow threat, right now it is the only practical solution for me

Re: Is anyone else having problems with Namedrive?
Blocked Domains..
As others have mentioned, I too have just noticed several domains (definitely generic) are now listed as "blocked". Why or how does this happen, and does this have any impact on the future usability of the domain(s)? In other words if google decides to block them does this mean they will be banned from ever showing up in the search engine results down the road.. is the development value basically destroyed now because of this? If that is the case, then I would rather not park them at all! This is very serious and answers must be provided.
NameDrive please clearly explain further the "blocked" domains issue so we can understand how it is caused, can be prevented and most importantly of all, how the future value of our domains might be impacted, thank you.

Hi NameYourself,
Regarding your question about search engine results: faillisted domains should still show up in search results after being developed even though they are blocked for AFD/AFS. I am currently waiting for a confirmation.
Unfortunately we are not always able to tell you what the reason for faillisting of a domain is because the traffic quality looks fine to us. Usually domains only should get faillisted in cases of TM issues and/or bad traffic quality. The second reason is sometimes difficult to prevent due to attacks from third parties like bots or malware.
Best Regards,
Indra

Holy crap. Nice.
I've also seen much better results for Japanese domains at PC. One of my better Japanese domains is on track to make 5x.

Re: Is anyone else having problems with Namedrive?
As I mentioned earlier we are working on alternative monetization options for domains blocked by Google and will inform you as soon as possible.
Alpha, Please send me a PM with your NameDrive login Address and I will look into your account and make sure you get notified if a domain gets blocked.
Thanks,
Indra

Re: Is anyone else having problems with Namedrive?
Hi all,
I just got informed fail listing of a parked domain does not affect the search rank of the site if it get's developed afterwards. It only disables AFD/AFS ads which would not be allowed on content sites anyways.
I hope this helps.
Best Regards,
Indra

Thank you Indra for getting back with somewhat less disturbing news. Definately helps, but the big questions still remain.
1) Why is google all of a sudden going on a blocking generic dictionary name frenzy with no warning or explanation?
2) Is this a temporary problem or the soon approaching "end" to parking?

Re: Is anyone else having problems with Namedrive?
I have moved everything to ParkingCrew.
I can now see where Google are coming from.
Basically, they are blocking everything with very high conversion rates.
Anyway, at least we have got out of the being ignored stage.
It seems ParkingCrew because of their mobile templates are able to get very high CTRs but because of the Google block are making very low PPC, although that will probably improve once the Auto Optimization is complete.
Regret not moving there before. Before the block, I would have been making big money.
From my perspective it important to keep showing those eyeballs something of interest to keep my traffic growing. I believe Parking Crew are doing that.
Am I getting what my traffic is worth? No, of course not.
But if Google are determined to leave a gap in the market simply because because their alogorythm doesn't understand IDN Mobile traffic, it will not be long before others are queuing up to fill that gap. Perhaps, we should thank them, because they have sown the seeds of a competitive market. It will take a while to fully develop, but that has to be better than the Big Brother scenario we are subject to date.
Yes, I guess Google is doing us all a big favour, even if it is only roling over and dying!

Google have left a gap in the market for many years now. Anyone filled it? Nope. Even the big ASCII domain owners have failed to produce alternatives.
So much for open marketplaces. Its a Google monopoly. They ban names without cause, refuse to give a reason why, refused to ever unban names, and keep banning more names every month.
Given all that, a higher and higher % of everyone's portfolio will be banned by Google. And there are no alternatives out there that pay anything worthwhile except for a few niches in particular countries.
What's the alternative? Develop sites and ..... then have to use Google Adsense to place ads. lol. No thanks.

No, not mine. Received now, after my complaint, thanks but why the delay?

Re: Is anyone else having problems with Namedrive?
We had an issue with our Paypal account which probably caused the delay. I apologize for the inconvenience.
