Just make sure you register the right domain. There shouldnt be any problems with Kannada, but Malayalam has certain characters that can only be registered at IDNA2008 compliant registrars, for example many registrars will reject any domains with "ൻ", or if they accept it, they will change "ൻ" to "ന്‌""""" ""

my standard operating procedure involves, entering an IDN in godaddy, if it's available, i'll go to who.is and enter the puny code there..... if the IDN is what i wanted..... i go on with the purchase.....

i've found four good value words/names to register; three kannada and 1 malayalam...... looking for one more....
