Nice move towards online tools not forcing/hinting people to use English all the time. Google is good at spotting trends if nothing else, and virtual keyboards are certainly trending due to mobile / touch use. I have 3 languages installed on my iphone. I'm sure some kidz can use 8-10.

But how long before people will start using it to type email addresses is a different matter entirely. My guess is 5-10 years. I don't care that someone somewhere once managed to send an IDN.IDN test email from one properly set up server to another. Its irrelevant. Look how long browsers have taken to even do IDN.com properly, and firefox still doesn't.

And email is a lot more complicated because mail server software on servers has to be upgraded. I think 5-10 years is very optimistic actually
