I think this company will be acquiring many domains soon because it is young company with a lot of billions $$$ ... may be they find about IDNs .... sooner or later they will do

Yeah, it is a bit difficult to see why anyone would get off their arse to renew domains that are bringing in their annual reg fee everyday of the week, even when the World has not yet woken up to their existence.

sooner big companies will wake up

orascom technology is a new company , their share price is 10 cents today

they are focusing on websites , development ..etc

the owner is very successful multibillionaire

orascom the mother company has many daughter companies

but the first time I see them interested in buying domains

they bought 4 letters domain otmt.com to launch the new company

then they bought arabia.com

I do not say they will go into buying individual IDNs but I guess this company may soon cooperate with verisign to launch arabic IDN.com(IDN)

Link already owns some of the biggest Arabic portals, Masrawy, YallaKora, Mazika ...etc, what they'd do with Arabia.com?? as far as I can see, they've already linked the registration with Link's centralized account, getting Sports news from YallaKora, other news from Masrawy ...etc, I can easily tell they are trying to take Y! Maktoob share in Arabic content portals.....

it is shameful that arab using google and yahoo and arabic versions of major english websites. why there is not one big arabic site like yandex for russians...etc

it is easy to be done really . but it seems there are low profits and still low advertising in the arabic region. this will change soon
