Iron in arabic language is "حديد"
The string you chose means iron in farsi

Thank you for your help Glasson. The version that I regged... is it the correct version in farsi? or would #2 be more appropriate?

I am not a farsi native speaker, but the second version is more widespread and seems to be the correct way of writing it. Iranian railway for example uses the 2nd version. Steel mills use also the 2nd version in their branding.
