Tested this with a couple of terms and compared them to GAKT values.
Observations:
It compares exact searches not broad ones which makes it a lot more useful than Google Trends for Korean keywords.
Adult terms seem largely underrepresented. This might be a bit surprising given the fact that South Koreans consume more porn than any other nation in the world. On the other hand there's in ID verification when you enter adult terms in Naver so Koreans probably prefer Google for porn.

I checked Google vs Naver(Korean versions 구글 and 네이버 ) using this tool and Google had much higher numbers, so I agree that people probably use Naver for most things and Google for porn. They use Naver to search "google" then google to find the good stuff
btw Naver use to have a GAKT like service. NOt sure if its available or not anyone know?
If I am not mistaken, Korea has a system where you need to enter your social insurance number or something similar to access 18+ content ? I'm not sure though, but that would explain the use of Google to find non-Korean pr0n.
a member here (hanidn ?) told us that the GAKT like tool was available only to advertisers
