Re: [Kyoto Hotels].com - Japanese
I was also interested in this, as I love hotel domains, but correct translation for this is "Hotels of Koyto", right?

Re: [Kyoto Hotels].com - Japanese
I'm not a native speaker, but the 1st 2 chars 京都 mean Kyoto,
and the rest のホテル means hotel(s)
thus the string is literally [Kyoto Hotels].com

ホテル = hotel(s)
の + ホテル = of + hotel(s)
no?!

Re: [Kyoto Hotels].com - Japanese
I think it's the way to say "hotels" but I am not a native speaker.
So just assume it's whatever you think is worth the least $$ when bidding.

Re: [Kyoto Hotels].com - Japanese
I'm pretty sure that Jose is correct and the prime spelling is 京都ホテル. I have no idea what "の" does to the meaning though.

*shrugs* could be - assume it is not prime spelling then.
I'm pretty sure Jose's "hotels in Kyoto" is not a good translation for this though. The reverse translation for this on idn.bz is wrong too actually, yielding, Kyoto-shi Hotels. But I think the valuation on idn.bz is spot on in this case.

Re: [Kyoto Hotels].com - Japanese
Well I'm kinda surprised, but it seems no native speakers watching this thread.
So has2hands, you still want to bid $30 for what may actually be "Hotels of Kyoto"? If so, cool, if not let's scrap this auction if mods ok with it.

Re: [Kyoto Hotels].com - Japanese
I am happy.
I am bidding using my own metrics.
