Sorry, but I figured people who would know the value accurately would speak Chinese so I didn't think about it.

it is "huang", it means "yellow" but it also seems to have an "adult" overtone, and I think may be a family name as well? It is a very common character.

I am not much in position to make an appraisal as I am still new to IDN,
but you would have to get stronger keywords / killers to get some good value in this extension.

黄 receives about 720 monthly global exacts only, and doesn't sounds much as a commercial name, so not much of reseller's value IMO. If common family name, may have got chance in retail / end user.

agree on 哈尔滨.com being valuable.

as for 黄.net depends IMO. if you don't have alot of Chinese .nets then maybe renew if you have a bunch of them then I wouldn't blame you for dropping it, I have dropped many .nets this year. keep in mind that Chinese .nets will get aliased(not a great choice)...search the board for the discussion but at least it gets aliased. a couple of other things
1 no revenue I assume (- 1)
2. relative easy development potential its a surname so at some point you should at least be able to sell email addresses, once it goes in the root and the software supports it. (+1)
3. .tv, .org, .tel all regged (+1)

so I would probably renew, I guess

Keep in mind that 黄色 is the noun and 黄 is the adj, for both the color and the adult connotation.
