Arrow Chinese bought 端午节.cn from Korean for 30K US$ and wish donate to the gov't

Sorry I don't have the English version.

I think this is quite a smart move, free national publicity for 58.com - how much does it cost to advertise on national newspapers?

But the sale coincides with the festival and the way it is orchestrated makes me wonder if there is really a $30k sale. Only 姚劲波 and maybe the reporter friend, will know the truth.

Make sense, nationwide publicity for USD30 k, what better bargain.

Opps, not nationwide, but worldwide. That's the reason we are discussing this, istn't it? ;-)

Maybe a bit of wisdom and tradition of giving something "important" like this as a gift to the city. This has been done with city domains as well I believe.

We'll have to wait and see. The dumpling festival has certain significance as it signifies patriotism. The festival is also celebrated in Vietnam and Korea.

Welcome to China Bill! October is a good month to visit China, it's getting cooler but not cold yet. In Beijing and Xian, you can see the ancient and great civilisation of China. In Shanghai, you can feel how commercial China has become. Most importanetly, Chinese is always friendly, I'm sure you will enjoy your visit.

Should be fun Bill... make sure you check out Qing Ping Market in GZ.

I think touchring means you have to brush up on your singing skills and develop a taste for Mao Tai
