From a couple weeks ago... The full transcript is available here, and it is notable for what it lacks... any mention of IDNs at all, even though they had just launched their first new product in how many years?

This is interesting:

While we believe China and the Asia-Pacific region will continue to perform well, we expect these markets to return to more normal levels in 2016… as we have noted in the past, the renewal rates for domain names registered in emerging markets such as Asia-Pacific have historically been lower than those registered in more developed markets.

Seems like the future of IDNs is phishy.

They may be referring to the NNNNNNNNNNNNs and LLLLLLs frenzy that have netted millions of new registrations mostly from China. But yes, not one mention of IDNs is horrible and shows that they themselves would rather just.. not talk about it. Didn't go how anyone wanted.
