Chrome don't display some idn's in unicode

Looks like chrome dont display unicode of idn if all letters in domain have the same spelling with English.
Cyrillic examples:
р.com а.com о.com у.com е.com х.com рах.com оао.com etc.

First time noticed the change a few months ago, before this was not

This is indeed a wise move to safeguard novice internet users from phishing websites that use confusingly similar ASCII look-alike IDNs.
