Are .コム IDNs gaining in popularity?

Are Japanese .コム IDNs catching on? Is there a demand, or will they continue to gather dust with no interested buyers?

The raw numbers of registrations give a somewhat average impression of コム. Here are some namestat numbers https://namestat.org/s/top-idns & https://namestat.org/xn--tckwe

But... If one searches on コム https://www.google.com/search?q=site:.コム there are a good number of コム domains and many of these are well developed quality sites. This gives me a good positive impression

Quality and Quantity are both important properties in assessing コム. What weighting one would give to each of these properties I do not know.

Good info Andre. I just have 3, I think. The favorite of which is コスメ.コム. This is Cosme or cosmetics. The other one I like is 英語.コム, which is English. Given the lack of inquiries, I now think I overpaid at launch. I have little hope for them but will hang onto them as I really like those two keywords.
