I guess this is very timely. What do you guys think about this little domain:

ワールドカップ.jp Worldcup JP OVT 87,081

Too many different worldcup's out there to TM this word, but we all know what it refers too.

Don't bother looking the com/.net is gone. But サッカーワールドカップ "soccer worldcup" with 61,000 ovt is available in the .net to the lucky dude who snags it.

Again thoughts? Suggestions for what to do with it? Appraisals?

Just incase you are not aware , this is something we really really frown upon here , i would suggest you try to get your money back or delete the name , Buying TM names is something that is not cool , sorry

I didn't think that was their TM it just sounded like a description. Are you sure that is a tm name?

In support of Armadillo, Genius, I will agree that what he regged is not a trademark. It reads, "Japan Soccer Representative" and is pretty far from a TM IMO.

Maybe get some ads on it, and a daily update of the world cup scores and tables. Keep em coming back for the next week or two

Thanks for helping on that rhys. I will make the site a little flashier, put some more substance on it and keep it up to date. I like soccer so it will be fun. My friends are just arriving in Germany today....lucky buggars
P.S. (One of the two has an uncle that was on the World Cup team for Ireland way back. I don't know much about it but his last name is - Fitzpatric.)
