There is 毛 - Ke
There is 髪 - Kami
there is 髪の毛 - Kami No Ke
In English they can translate to hair but they all have ways to be used
Ke- you can say 1 strand of Hair - 一本の毛
You can't say this with the others
髪 - I like your Hair, Your hair looks nice. General term for hair
Don't grab my hair, don't pull my hair, my hair is caught on the headboard, maybe I should stop but I KNOW THIS ONE
You can't say I like your Ke...
Kami No Ke
I believe this mainly refers to one's hairstyle.
So my point is even though the English just says "hair" the use is different.
Maybe rhys knows a better general use for ke but I general use it to refer to strands of hair...
