Hi

I'd be interested to know if any of you are
holding '.co.kr' IDN's. And is it possible to
reg directly under '.kr'?...

(also interested in buying; let me know what
you have).

I've been checking on WHOIS for .kr, seems that it follows the case of .cn and .jp, the idn .kr is often registered prior to the .com equivalent. And knowing that even korean.com is hard to find, finding free korean.kr is an uphill task, although there might be exceptions.

Are we even able to register .kr? I tried once and it said you must be a resident.

Is there a similar service to what jp-domains.com does for .jp? (putting their physical address in the whois)

Hi Jeff,

I know you can reg 'co.kr' (through a 'local' agent) but I
am not sure about '.kr'. It appears there was a kind of
test release for .kr around a year or so ago, but I can't
any further info - I suspect it's not open any longer, and
Yahoo aren't listing many <hangul>.kr.
