New mix native and number domain registrations barred??
 

I heard this barred by Verisign just a month ago - i've not verified yet myself - anyone has more info, bring come forward.

If that's the case, good luck to those who registered earlier - new registrations are now barred - so present holdings might be valuable somehow.

I Tried today, and when not successful i emailed dynadot staff to try manually - also couldnt do it... theres the answer from them
(i was able to reg 3 domains with mix of letters/number appx 6 months ago)

The central registry won't let us register them. We tried all po
ssible languages, and none of them allowed us to register the domain. Here i
s the reason why:

"The IDN you entered combines two different languages
. Sometimes combining characters from 2 different languages into one IDN is
not allowed. For example, a domain containing Cyrillic characters can not al
so have English characters. This is because the Cyrillic alphabet is related
to the English alphabet, and combining characters from both languages could
lead to confusion. Other language combinations are allowed,
like Chinese and English."
