Nice dream, right? I just got 景気.net. Blame Babelfish on my post... The .com has been held since 2000, so it must be worth more than reg fee...

Buying PREMIUM P-R-E-M-I-U-M ONLY Japanese/Chinese .com
"If the Chinese, Arabs, a.s.o. want to find something using their symbols, let their governments set up websites with URLs like "x.cn". Anyone able to boot a PC and use an OS should be able to punch five letters in the location bar of a web browser."

Re: Business.net Japanese

Thanks Blast. It gets a nice wiki page:

http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/景気

Looks to me like Macro Business. (Like the Macro and Micro Economy definition)

Re: Business.net Japanese

It is like "business condition" or "economic condition".

If you say "景気 is good," then that means you or the company (or the economy) is doing well financially or profitable.

It also is used as part of an antonym 不景気 ("not 景気"): business recession; hard times; depression.

Unfortunately most of my experience doing business with Japan was during 不景気. Not when 景気 was good. Alex is right about the meaning without question.
