This is not new, we all knew what was happening. But this just reminds us again that domaining technique is quite sophisticated, and domaining is definitely not "a shallow business frequented by people with little to no social/personal skills."

What?! I have never said anything of the kind,
and Giant's story about domainers had nothing at all
to do with my earlier generalisation about domaining
being a shallow business, and that domainers have
(generally speaking) few identifiable social or personal
skills.

If he had linked a story that told how domainers had
now stopped living with their moms, asked girls out,
and no longer thought that adolescent and immature
talk on domain forums was 'cool' then that would've
been a valid response to my original remark.

Computers aren't for nerds, but you can't honestly
tell me that domaining is an 'industry' where (at this
level) people are actually displaying personal or social
skills...

Don't worry, I know it very well.

But think about these:

-We have about few hundred members here doing domaining, do you think it's a polite way of telling them that they are "people with little to no social/personal skills"?

-In every profession or industry, we can find people with different lifestyle or interests. If you are matured enough you should know someone else's private life is NOT your business.

-When social with people, always appreciate your friends' personal excellence rather than their short comings.
