IDN packages

Hello all. Has anyone ever sold IDN packages? I ask this because most of my IDN sales have been through this method.

It first started when I was approached by a member of this forum, though not on this forum, and we worked out a deal for an IDN package. I completed this task for her which consisted of 30-35 IDNs at her choosing. She choose all the specifications, ie, language, overture, category, everything. I hired translators and we put together this package. After that I sold around 25-30 more packages ranging between 3,500-6,000 USD depending on the language and the complexity of the "order." I contacted some people and the other sales were from people contacting me.

Now don't get me wrong, these were not just any IDNs, only premium IDNs. I acted as an admin on 10 on these "clients'" accounts with my name and email listed in the whois. Recently I've received offers for their IDNs, which they purchased from me, ranging between $3-4,000 for some of these IDNs alone. Meaning that they pay off the entire package of 30 from 1 IDN.

Now what if I would have registered all these IDNs for myself? lol. Oh well I guess..just wanted to get that off my chest.

Re: IDN packages

I got a feeling that people here are selling in packages or more like bulk to other members. You often here the talk of deals, & I assume most of them go on behind closed doors either by email or PM. I don't know if anyone else has searched like that though...

I do registered in Themes also, I want to sell in themes in the future after the market fully opens.

After we fix the problems with parking & we can evaluate how much can be "properly" earned from Search traffic, I think more of the larger investors might buy in bulk...
That is if IDNF big ballers don't buy them first...

I agree packages is a good way to sell.

I do like selling in packages. Out of 30-35 IDNs you are bound to get at least few gems, so the odds of getting your money back are high.

Yeah i agree , to buy and sell .... They also are addictive when you start really adding to them because even a mediocre name fits in well when you have a vision in mind.

You dont want to share or really dont remember because if memory serves me correct , these were not just any ordinary IDN's

Not quite sure what you're implying...like I said, these are not just IDNs that are pulled from the scrape pile. It's myself and 4 paid translators which are fluent in multiple languages, that spend hours, sometimes days, finding these IDNs. After the first package sold for $2,000 I was actually IN THE HOLE after I paid them! lol...thats when I decided to raise my prices.

Thats cool but every IDN thats not " pulled from the scrape pile " Is premium... We were just wondering if you felt like sharing any that you sold , but you said you didnt keep records of them , and i was just saying maybe you didnt want to share because if i sold a few premium names usaually i would remember a few of them.

Understandable.

Of course I remember some, but posting them will open the door for spammers, also, not all are IDNs like "Tokyo.com" in Japanese or anything like that...Just to the specifications of the buyers..and I wouldnt take on a task of finding 30 IDNs of that nature anyway since it would be impossible.

Re: IDN packages

I did something like that for Arabic mid-Dec - back then it was still possible, hired an Egyptian freelancer to give me like 100 high ovt terms (>2000), paid about $1 per term, out of which i registered about 30 terms, some .com, some .nets, i remembered.
