I didn't get the information from anywhere, i just know that NiteClubs are formally called 夜总会 in china and hongkong. 夜店 might be a taiwanese slang word - i've not checked on that.

Nevertheless, it is still much more valuable than 网络日记.com, which might be just a little too long.

夜店 is a very popular colloquial word in TW.

If you happen to watch any TW entertaiment shows, they never use any word apart from 夜店 to refer to clubs/discos.
