People don't navigate to sex.com using it's IP address, so this is irrelevant if he gets the same IP block back or not. Nobody cares.

DNS caches will all expire within *maximum* 1 month, 99% of them expiring within less than a week - mostly within 2-3 hours.

I guess he can afford to lose 99% of his traffic for a couple of hours.

As well, there are plenty of colocation facilities that offer blocks of IP addresses, so this is just whining IMO.
