Chinese translation help please
"车租" -translates as "Che Zu" ?
Google.cn shows a number of car / vehicle rental ads
http://www.google.cn/search?hl=zh-CN...E7%B4%A2&meta=
Ah , seems like I have bits of two words! Back to the drawing board!

Re: Chinese translation help please
My translator has Che Zu...does look like two different words, but in some instances I see them used together as a free standing term, but that is pretty rare. Better leave this one to a native speaker.
The things that I like to see on Chinese terms are that the word is used as a "title" or in multiple headings in a prominent manner. The best are the terms that produce lots of ads on right side list, or a combo of "blue stickies" paid ads over the listings and column ads.

Re: Chinese translation help please
According to the Google search result you will know -
约有 37,200项符合"车租"的查询结果
but
约有 4,320,000项符合 "租车"的查询结果
the correct Chinese says "租车", and it's mean [car-rental] or [auto leasing]

Newbies take note...this is a good rule of thumb.
As many of us are dabbling in languages we know little or nothing about, advertisers paying to be included in a term's search results are an excellent way to gauge it's value and marketability.
Unless you are proficient in the language and are certain you still have a good term, you can avoid wasted reg fees by sticking to this rule.

Another tip.
I searched "vehicle rent" on Babelfish and it came up with "车租" - reversing the search came up with "che zu" This also threw up a lot of advertisers on the right hand side when googled!
Beware! Check, check, double check and then check again
