洋服.jp Clothing.jp
洋服.jp "Clothing".jp OVT 18,066 and 14 bids from 55 to 35 yen from clothing brands and stores. "洋服" yields 19,600,000 results on yahoo.co.jp.
Appraisals? Thoughts? I'm thinking about best (meaning click rev vs time/money investment) ways to develop it - any suggestions?

Re: 洋服.jp Clothing.jp
Fantastic generic.
I'd start off just with using that as a keyword since it's such a broad generic.

Thanks Olney. No one else have any suggestions for what they would do for development of this domain? What kind of content would you think ideal? How would they break down into pages?

Mens and Womens.
Use LinkShare to sign to get ads from big department stores: Matsuzakaya, Takashimaya, Barneys New York, and start earning a % on sales.

Is there any way to access Japanese advertisers with a US LinkShare account? I went through the Japanese LinkShare application form and it seems to require a Japanese bank account for payments.

Not only that, but they will kick you out in a few weeks if you don't get one.

If you are addressing me, nick_name - the name isn't for auction. I'm just curious to see what folks can think of to do with this domain in development.
Thanks for the thoughts guys, keep em coming!

A bit clearer explanation. There is a link to the Japanese bid tool below. This will let you find out if advertisers are interested in the word and what they have "bid" on that term. Some words get no response.
To check out the word "clothing", paste 洋服 in the box, (enter the turing code/password) then click the start button and you should get the same "bids" Rhys listed above. There are bid tools for many languages, but not all of them.

On parking, most use Namedrive.com. They have been supportive of IDNs and really put good effort forward for us. They do not yet support Chinese language (but you can list Chinese idns with them if you wish).
There is a Chinese parking company, dopa.com aka silverclicks. They are currently not returning emails, or interested in any new customers...or so it seems.

Re: 洋服.jp Clothing.jp
oh thanks, YES I have already done all that, I thought that there was a way to park and have bids on your page, I currently have about 30 chinese/japenese names at namedrive, out of my top 10 earners, 3 are idns
I thought when he said bids, it was actual companies bidding on a parked site, something that I am currently not getting, also I do know about afernic/sedo, but from what I have read NAMEDRIVE is the best parker before FABOLOUS, I havent got a great portfolio for fabolous yet
all is clear now
thanks
OK I found out what was wrong
to use the keyword BID feature I have to use INTERNET EXPLORER, firefox didnt return any results, I turned off the block ads etc, after a list of the best keywords returned nothing, then I figured it out
that answers all my questions

If you are just parking and do not enter a "keyword" only your best IDNs, like the word "travel" or "holiday" might automatically get display ads (instead of the generic parking page).
If you play around with the keywords (in the language of the idn) then check the little magnifying glass to the right of the keyword, with some luck you can get a page of paying ads. This should bring your PPC up substantially.
