What Good are Spammers for?

I really can't stand when my inbox is getting filled with Spam After Spam email.

I wrote before that I occasionally received Spam Chinese emails well I took the email
Translated & bought a few Chinese domains from the included text.

Now I have a better idea on what to do with the Spam messages...

Spammers have to create sites that nearly perfect
Usually using only CSS & pretty good graphics.

I suggest you actually start to look at the sites.

& steal these Mofo's Graphics!!!!

That's right if they want to fill my inbox with Spam
I'm taking whole site designs & graphics.....
(LINK EDITED)

Thank you watch Fake Rolex or whoever...
What can they do?

Re: What Good are Spammers for?

I receive 500 spam emails on my business email. So far, thunderbird's built-in spam filter has been doing fine, although i actually find a few valid mails now and then so i search thru before emptying. Anyone has a better solution for thunderbird?

Re: What Good are Spammers for?

Try installing Norton Internet Security - it's spam filter reduces the amount of spam significantly.

Ah. but it blocks affiliate sites like Commission Junction, so if you make your money off affiliate sales, and recommend Norton, you're cutting your nose off.

Re: What Good are Spammers for?

I'm have to say I edited the above link
I already custom designed that site early in the month.
In other words if you went to the link about within this month
It was my design & not what I took from a Spam site.

Re: What Good are Spammers for?

The only way to stop all this spam is to charge a levy on email. 0.01 cents per thousand collectable by your ISP and to be remitted to the taxman. It really would cost you average Joe anything but it would cripple your spammer. However, we seem to have a situation where the software industry is actually encouraging spam, to promote their products and ambivalent enforcement. Online crime should be taken seriously. A testicule for each serious offence would seem reasonable!

Make spammers pay - makes perfect sense to me. Bulk mailers pay for sending me credit card offers, so why not let spammers pay for some administrative costs. Completely impossible program to administer however.

Changes to email protocol SMTP++ are the only real way, requiring authenticated senders in order to ensure delivery (otherwise take your chances) Many arguments already about this by industry heavyweights, who all want to do this in their own proprietary way.
