Internationalised Domain Names Road - Progress and Future
MARINA DEL REY, Calif., Nov. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- ICANN today announced a clear roadmap for the introduction of Internationalised Domain Names (IDNs) based on progress so far and future work.

"ICANN has a clear process for the introduction of IDNs. There is much intense work being done by ICANN committees and the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF). That includes IETF standards, testing and rules discussions. A substantial amount of this work is now coming to fruition" said Dr Paul Twomey, President and CEO of ICANN.

Dude relax about Dname. Verisign is a multi-billion dollar corp. With a firm grip on .com and .net and they are on the idn committe. They are not going to just sit back and allow themselves to get FUCKED out out potentally billions of dollars in registrations.

They may be an evil dictatorship that has their reigns on Icann... oh wait, they have their reigns on Icann...Verisign will not lose in the idn race.

I am confident that Icann and VeriSign know how to take care of their business, and our business (investment) will be taken care of too.
