Dollar has devalued 35% since 2001

No wonder we all felt something is wrong, but just don't know how to describe it amid the bouyant stock market and economy!

The Feds and American gov keeps pumping in liquidity into the American economy. Where does the money to fund the Iraq War, the tax cuts and the deficit come from? Money that doesn't even exist!! :o

With Iraq fallen into civil war, and terrorists controlling most of it, how long can this continue?

It seems that American options are now limited, the choice is now either regional sectarian civil war or impose a ruthless Saddam style rule in Iraq.

Yes, whilst constantly reiterating a strong dollar policy. They want China to float the Yuan. I think they should be careful what they wish for!

Ahh, i think that has to be propaganda, they can't afford a sudden yuan revaluation, and so can't china.

But the Yuan has appreciated just a little against the dollar, although much less than other major currencies.

The rise in the EU has shown one thing, the EU is becoming stronger vis-a-vis America, a least the past 5 years.
