Redirect script does not work with Unicode URLs

I posted this earlier in another thread, but it may have escaped notice. This is probably something that should be looked at, considering that this is a IDN forum.

See this post for a current example of broken redirect links.

In Firefox, the new redirect script seems to be mangling UTF-8 urls, so you should enter PunyCode links (until the redirect script is fixed).

www.プーケット.jp

becomes:

[url]http://www.idnforums.com/forums/redirect-to/?redirect=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.%E3%83%97%E3%83%BC%E3%82%B1%E3%83%83%E3%83%88.jp[/url]

Unfortunately this only happens in the members area.
It's always been like this.
The redirect isn't in place other places.

Ah, I see. Well, I just wanted to make sure you were aware of the issue.
