Yes, gTLD will hit the street first.
It is only then that real value of the dot com extension will become obvious to everyone. We will all have a chance to see just how much difference IDN at the top level really makes.
Anyway, what I can tell you is that the IDN appearing in the Associated Cities Live Auction will all be dot Com. First hand knowledge or intuitive guess, well I will leave you to work that one out!
