Yeah maybe :p but the funny thing is the example she gives is of an IDN that definitely could exist now i.e. the SLD is IDN not the TLD.

Perhaps ICANN are aiming to deliver a "simple message" by saying IDNs are just entering a test stage, but there is a difference between simplification of a message and grossly misrepresenting the facts.

If anyone is in regular contact with Tina, can they ask her why ICANN keeping pumping out this line? Perhaps ask her how websites with IDN domains (that don't yet exist) can get lots of traffic...
