Re: Cheaper ways to renew idn.tv

I recently transferred to Moniker - $27.50 for .tv

But if that enom price is correct I'll have to transfer the rest there.

IDOTZ has been doing $29.95 for a good few months.
It is their headline "special"
http://www.idotz.net/

Yes they give you the first year at $19.95, but then $50.00 per year thereafter for renewal.
Maybe even a transfer fee is you try to switch registrars after that? But I am not sure on that.

I haven't actually used enom but heard it mentioned. I think I'll stay put to avoid accidentally paying $50 next year

They just started this apparently, in an effort to spark a lowering of proces now that the registry is operated by a new group of folks who are more promotions oriented. I say offer a free IDN.tv for every ASCII one regged - now THAT would be a great way to promote!

Info is published on Enom's "price" list menu on the left side column.

I would check their renewal rate, those seem to vary.
At IDOTZ even, they may not keep the 29.95 forever, and renewal could be much higher.
Maybe we should try and get an IDNF price from one of them.
