My coworker informed me that there is a magazine here in Tokyo for those in marketing & advertising published by Dentsu (the largest ad agency in Japan).
I'll get the article later but it was an article by GMO about IDN domains.
GMO is one of the biggest internet related companies in Japan (with various child corporations).
This kind of exposure is great because only people in online & offline advertising read the magazine.

I'll tell you guys more details after I get the magazine.
Most likely it's only things that most of us already know. This might be the initiative effort to get the big boys used to the idea of a domain aftermarket which doesn't exist here yet. Well respected corporations in Japan are the most influential on the senior corporate types.
