Hey all,

I just finished ruffing in http://www.idnbay.com

It is the ebay of idn domains woooo!

Everybody can list for free and if olney isnt pissed about the spam then ill give all idn forum members a $25 dollar credit for the final value fees.

It is free to list domains for sale but we are looking into an escrow system and have a 2% final value fee.

I am currently looking into purchasing click space on all of the forums, I would prefer to trade banners with olney and keep idnforums as my main "partner"

Any feedback on the site, the rates, advertising etc etc would be great. Olney please pm me if you would like to trade banners or tell me to go to hell

Just had a quick look at the site, and it looks great. Is it something you have coded yourself ??

Good luck with the venture - I have bookmarked the site for future use.

TY! Well, yes and no. I can code php and stuff but this is a script I bought then modified, I pretty much just buy cores and mod them nowadays, scripting and debug can suk it lol.

Hmmm.

eBay sends a TM threat letter to ANY domain ending in "bay".

If they find one running an auction site, lord knows what they'll do.

Any name ending in bay? thats just silly. so greenbay or sfbay is a trademark infringement to ebay?

If they really do cry I'll just get another name.

Yes, they have a history of going after online auction sites ending in "bay"

2. Sales threads should include a minimum of IDN, punycode, language(s), English translation, price or price range.

Please do not post non-sales thread in this forum section. It is distracting and takes away from those that are buying and selling.

Fair enuf blast but a thread about buying and selling names via a nice vehicle is hardly distracting from buying and selling domains.

It is indeed distracting, and rather spammy way to bust up the competition.

bftp, How am I breaking up the competition? I am trying to make IDN STRONGER. That makes no sense, who exactly am I cutting into?

As for spam, like I first posted, if olney doesnt like it, then fine I'll pay for a banner or partner up etc.

I've got no problem with you promoting anything you want. My only point was, this was in the wrong section and by getting bumped was interfering with valuable sales space.
