Re: Korean 53k overture

From what I see it does indeed mean 'bottom'. The second result on Google is a Wikipedia article on what I believe is the 'bottom quark' (as in subatomic physics).

Other interpretations of 'bottom' seem to be 'sole of the shoe' or 'floor'. Maybe the high overture count comes from 'floor'. It is also used to describe the lowest point on a graph, like 'stock market bottom' or 'valley'. Anyway, looks like it's got many generic meanings which is always good.

I am not a native speaker so I can't verify this, but that's what is looks like to me.

53k for it tho? Most generics that seem better than this word only have 5k-9k ovt.

Re: Korean 53k overture

My dictionary says 바닥 is "floor"
and this: 밑바닥 is bottom.

When I'm not quite sure about a word's translation, I use google photos to see how the word is used on websites.

Sorry, no chicks' bottoms there

p.s. I know it's an oder thread, but, oh well...

Re: Korean 53k overture

Maybe it's "bottom" as in S&M terminology "a bottom"

Re: Korean 53k overture

IMO
It's right that 바닥 translated to 'Bottom'.
