Unexpected downtime at IDNF

I was working with a tech person to try to locate various server issues that made IDNF run slow.
We are not finished but I'll try to minimize downtime of the server there will probably be another one day IDNF will be worked on but I'm trying to schedule it beforehand.

Re: Unexpected downtime at IDNF

I think the database probably needs tuning. I have received a lot of database errors while trying to view the site recently.

Are you using MySQL or what?

Re: Unexpected downtime at IDNF

Site was "logging me out" when I try to go to another thread or back to home screen.

Just rebooted and seem to be working OK, I agree with Blast site seems to be running faster.

Re: Unexpected downtime at IDNF

I get the same database connect timeouts. Often it's a case of the hosting provider using one dedicated database server for use by all webservers. Maybe it's time to add another?
