The highest I have heard of is Arabic for $500. Most of the really good single characters don't come up for sale. I think for a good Arabic or Cyrillic alphabetic we are talking mid $xxxx, but the market is thin and it depends on the motivation of buyer and seller. I believe that some of these domains will eventually be worth around the 7 Figure mark.

The problem with single characters is that you don't know what the people who type them in expect, and there is no way to predict that. The click through rate therefore, is in my experience lower than with highly specific, and in demand words.

Well you would expect that to be the case but traffic figures indicate otherwise.

Single characters are immensly brandable and very adaptable. M can stand for Microsoft just as easily as Mitsubishi or Mannesmann. The value of the IDN will become apparent when the ASCII single characters are auctioned off!
